AI Comes
for Google
First, they did it with DALL-E and AI-generated art. Now, AI is coming for Google in the form of ChatGPT. It’s just another reminder that change is constant, especially in the tech industry. Artificial intelligence is proving to benefit and be the bane of everyone from language students to arms manufacturers to, yes, even the tech and Internet search behemoth Google. Although AI is fantastic and seemingly highly intelligent, it does make mistakes. Dangers increase when people fail to understand the limitations of AI and thus misuse it. ChatGPT made headlines at the end of 2022 and may soon pose an alternative to or replace Google’s search algorithm. What happens, then?
