For good

For good means forever or that something will last forever. That’s what is supposed to happen when you get a tattoo or fall in love.

Word of the Day: For good

Tattoos are one of those things that, when you get them, you get them for good.

Tattoos are like a good marriage – made to last.

Yes, I know that tattoos can be removed with lasers, and married people can get a divorce.

For good means forever or that something will last forever.

When I make a decision, though, I tend to make it for good.

There’s a great peace of mind in permanence and everlasting.

For good, you see, means forever, and that’s what is supposed to happen when you get a tattoo or fall in love.
