Flattering

If something is flattering, it makes you look better than usual. More positively, it enhances your beauty or something that you have.
Even in the 1930s, a suit could make a bad guy look good.

Word of the Day: Flattering

If something is flattering, it makes you look better than usual.

You could take a more positive attitude and say that if something is flattering, it enhances your beauty or something that you have.

I recently heard from a female student that a man always looks better in a suit, no she was not talking about me, I don’t wear suits.

Then again, perhaps that was what she was getting at.

Anyways, if that is true, we can say that a suit is flattering to a man.

So, if you are a single guy and hate putting on a suit in the morning, remember some women think a suit is flattering.

Women also know they may look better in one style of dress than another.

We can say that one style of dress is more flattering to her than the other.
