Word of the Day: Pub crawl
Remember the good old days of the pub crawl?
Remember getting together with a bunch of friends, going to the local entertainment district and visiting all the bars in one night?
If you do remember, then it’s evident that you did not drink enough.
A pub crawl occurs when friends get together, go to the local entertainment district and visit many of the bars in one night.
In Japan, we often visit more than one bar during an evening.
Usually, after a ‘first party,’ there is sometimes a second, third or even fourth party where people go from one pub, bar, or karaoke box to another to have a drink (or perhaps more) at each one.
Of course, I went on my fair share of pub crawls in the backpacking days of my youth, but now the only crawling I do is out of bed at 5:30 am.
