You’ve been studying English for a while, and you’re starting to wonder what it’s all for. Is there any benefit to learning a language that you’re not going to speak very often? Well, I’m delighted you asked. There is a bit of controversy about this, but it seems that there is. Other than expanding your knowledge of the world, enabling you to communicate with many more people and being able to access information without it being filtered through a translator, there are benefits for your brain.
