What happens to online returns? Where do they go? Today we enjoy the convenience of shopping online. With just a few clicks, we can purchase almost anything we need and have it delivered right to our doorsteps. However, as with any shopping, there is always the possibility that what we receive may not be exactly as expected. Online retailers understand this and have made the return process relatively easy for their customers. But what happens to all of those returned items? For starters, many of them end up being resold. However, not all returned items are suitable for resale. Some may be damaged in transit, while others may have been used or altered. In these cases, the items are typically disposed of or recycled. Returning items bought online is fairly straightforward, but what happens after that needs to be looked into. Let’s investigate!
