2023 has turned out to be the hottest year humanity has ever experienced. It is also the coolest year moving forward. This is where carbon capture & storage comes in. We need to get to net zero carbon emissions in a hurry. If the powers that be hadn’t realized it before this summer, they must know it now. Canadian wildfires have released an amount of carbon into the atmosphere equal to the amount released by the Canadian economy over three years. We must get to net zero emissions, but is carbon capture the way to do it? Can we remove carbon dioxide from the air and store it underground?
