Lesson: Comfort Food

Oh, the joys of comfort food. Whether it’s ice cream, blueberry muffins, Kimchi nabe at the end of a hard week or your favourite macaroni and cheese recipe, comfort food melts stress. All is right with the world for a few joyous minutes of delicious serenity when you are at one with your favourite food. Handmade pizza on a Tuesday night is my go-to comfort food. A crispy crust topped with onions, peppers, and dried persimmon with either ham or salami smothered in gooey cheese has the power to calm my mind and ease my soul. What’s your comfort food?
