Lesson:

Dark Skies

Look up. Way up. Dark skies are coming to a community near you. If you live in a populated area, the chances are great you suffer from light pollution. Yes, light is excellent, but so is darkness. Since the dawn of self-awareness, our ancestors have gazed up at the night sky with awe and wonder. With the advent of electricity, that experience has been denied us. Until now. The International Dark-Sky Association is working to reverse light pollution and allow us to admire the night sky as we used to once do.
