The English language and culture borrow extensively from other languages and cultures. The Danish concept of hygge is just another in a long list. Don’t worry about the pronunciation right now; it’s explained in the articles. The Danes know how to relax, and for a while, the Americans were doing everything they could to, if not learn from, at least copy the Danish method for relaxing. If you want to learn how to be warm, snug, and cozy, hygge is for you.
