If you still think electric vehicles from China are low-quality, high-volume garbage, then this lesson will make you reconsider. You will rethink your beliefs and come back to reality faster than you can say Bob’s your uncle. Did you know that Ford’s CEO, Jim Farley, is so terrified of the competition that Chinese car companies pose that he has been driving a Chinese electric car since 2024? Did you know that the manufacturing plants Nissan closed in Europe are being purchased and reopened by Chinese companies? How about this: Toyota has admitted it cannot compete with Chinese companies, so it has increased its prices and abandoned cheaper models. We are in the midst of an era of tremendous change. Chinese automobile manufacturer BYD (Build Your Dreams) recently launched its Racco electric kei car in Japan and received 5,000 orders in the first week. That’s 5,000 kei cars that Japanese manufacturers will not sell. We are living in the midst of ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) Armageddon.
