Whether you love social media, hate it, put up with it or have nothing to do with it, chances are you have heard of a social media influencer. Perhaps you know Pewdiepie or Kim Kardashian? Yeah, I thought you would know at least one of them. So, these influencers can have a significant effect on whether new products are successful or not. Influencers are paid to mention, photograph or use a product on their SNS channel. Things are becoming a bit confused, though. Sometimes it’s obvious a post is a paid promotion, and sometimes it isn’t. Let’s dive into the world of SNS influencers.
