Lesson: Infrastructure Issues

A water pipe supplying 60,000 homes suddenly collapses in Wakayama, Japan. The crumbling train tunnel under the Hudson River constantly causes delayed trains between New York and New Jersey. Germans sit in massive traffic jams, and climate change is undermining already strained energy, communication and transportation infrastructure in Britain faster than it can be repaired or replaced. After decades of massive growth and investment, infrastructure throughout the West needs some tender love and care and tremendous amounts of money.
