Lesson: iPod Eulogy

There is something such as a gadget that symbolizes the era for every generation. In 1950s America, it was the car with its ever-larger chrome bumpers and rear wings culminating in the iconic ’57 Chevy. During the Showa era in Japan, everyone coveted air conditioners, TVs and fridges. In more modern times, around the world in the early aughts, it was the iPod. The iPod changed the way we listen to music, exercise and consume audio media. Everything must eventually come to an end, and recently, Apple announced that the time has come for the iPod. This conversation is a eulogy for the iPod. Like it or love it, you can’t deny the effect it has had on us.
