Lesson: #MeToo

At the end of last year (2017), the New York Times broke the Harvey Weinstein story of sexual abuse in Hollywood. Since then, the #MeToo phenomenon has gained traction and become a movement. It has spread around the world, and although it was late in coming to Japan, it is now making waves here as well. Of course, many people criticize the movement, and the critics are not only men. It seems that #MeToo tends to polarize people. It’s a delicate and touchy subject, but let’s try it. It will be one of the major news stories of this year (2018).
