Choosing an education is choosing the life you will have; it’s that important. It used to be that a university degree was a ticket to a comfortable middle-class life. Not anymore. For a while now, experts have been saying that North America needs to reconsider its emphasis on academic education and begin to look toward vocational education as a viable option. It is not uncommon for vocational workers to earn higher salaries and have more upward mobility than university-educated employees. With the introduction and development of AI, the typical office worker may be slated for extinction. Does it make sense that vocational education provides a sunnier path to a bountiful future?
