Quite unexpectedly, everyone said that instead of wasting the animals by merely culling them, they should use horse meat for human consumption. As I said, those answers were utterly unexpected, so I did some research. The consumption of horsemeat is a much bigger topic than I ever imagined, and you may find it interesting too.
