Lesson: The Joy of Fear

Fear is a natural response to danger. It triggers the fight or flight response in which you either fight for your life or run for your life. So, why do some people enjoy being afraid or scared? Well, it isn’t very easy to explain. We could call it a natural high. First, let me ask you if you are a horror movie fan. You may be one of those people who enjoy visiting haunted houses around Halloween. Then again, intentionally putting yourself in a scary situation may not be your cup of tea. The main question is why some people seek out the joy of fear.
