Humans are creatures of habit. We prefer stability and reliability, so we may become frustrated or stressed when things don’t go according to plan. That’s why we should try to develop our mental or psychological agility. People with developed mental agility are less likely to become depressed when they lose control of a situation. With all the turmoil in the world at the moment, many of us feel we have lost control of everything. Mental agility is the skill we need to help us get through these turbulent times.
