Lesson: Thriving with Online Education

Many young school-age students struggled with online education during the pandemic partly due to its sudden and haphazard introduction. Their difficulties arose because they missed the dynamic face-to-face interaction with classmates and teachers. Parents, teachers, and society, in general, condemned the online experiment as a failure while demanding schools reopen. It is now coming to light that online education’s grand, forced experiment was not a total failure. Some students thrived. The questions to answer are: who? And why?
