Lesson:

Why do I have to do homework?

If your childhood was anything similar to mine, then you have memories of crying at the kitchen table trying to finish math homework that even your parents couldn’t figure out. I wouldn’t say I liked homework as a small child. As I grew older, I realized that I did not have to study so hard for exams if I did an excellent job on my homework. I got so good at studying during the year and doing homework that I did not have to study hard to pass the exams, even in university. I’m not saying I got super high grades in uni, but I did have a lot of free time to work and travel. Homework helped me learn how to manage my time – I always did my homework as soon as I got home and then played afterward. I suppose you could say I learned to pre-crastinate. Think about homework and if it is essential for children or when it is necessary for children, and we’ll discuss your thoughts in our conversation.

I will never test you on the articles, but I strongly suggest you book lessons far enough in advance to give yourself enough time to properly prepare. The better prepared you are, the more benefit you will receive from our conversations.
